Webinar on COOL DH results, 19th September 2019, 10 am–12 noon
After the first European Technical Workshop organised in Brussels in June, it’s now time for the first European Technical Webinar to get feedback from the DHC+ community about the COOL DH results. The webinar will be a valuable occasion to gather researchers, technicians and utilities to debate about the future of district heating, the use of surplus heat and local resources for low and ultra-low temperature networks.
The webinar will focus both on technical and non-technical topics concerning the COOL DH innovations and front-runner demo sites (i.e. Europe’s largest LTDH network in Lund) with a particular attention to the envisaged technical solutions being applied.
The programme in short:
- – Introduction
- – General presentation of COOL DH
Reto Hummelshøj, COWI - – Legislative and regulatory framework study
Steen Gravenslund Olesen, COWI - – How to avoid the risk of legionella in low-temperature networks
Per‐Olof Johansson Kallioniemi, Lund University - – Innovative piping systems for Low Temperature District Heating
Klaus Grønnegaard Lauridsen, Logstor - – LTDH connected appliances
Klara Ottosson, Kraftringen - – Optimising cascade couplings for optimal use of low temperature sources
Markus Falkvall, Kraftringen - – Q&A Session
- – Conclusion
